I am terrible at posting on the blog part of this blog - I mostly use it to keep my calendar updated

Maybe I should get a different website. 

More importantly, I released a solo album today. You can find it here:

I am extremely proud of it. It is also up on all streaming platforms, if thats' more your thing. I've been working on it in some way, shape or form for a few years, and now it's out. 

In other news, I also put out a trio record with BRITTLESTAR a couple weeks ago. This is a trio of myself, Asher Herzog, and Samantha Kochis. You can find it here: 

I am also quite proud of this one. We've been playing together for a few years now, and last January had the opportunity to go to Poschiavo, Switzerland for a composition residency. My composition on the album, "Grüm," is dedicated to the mountain we lived in the shadow of - where I'd frequently take the train up to to go have coffee and soup surrounded by the snow and howling wind.

What else have I been up to? On the subject of albums, I spent a lot of this year working on the full length album of Strong 7s - my country band with Andrew Backer. That album will come out very soon. Maybe I should have spaced these things out more, but what would be the fun in that. 

I did a lot of touring this year with Porcelain Vivisection, up and down the east coast. Been super gratifying to watch a fan base slowly and weirdly evolve for that group. We've slowed down a bit in the last couple months as I've been busy with these above listed albums, Neel is on tour for standup a lot, and Asher is busy managing New York's most lucrative rock climbing gym, but we have tours planned for the spring and some other surprises as well. 

This past July I helped rebuild the engine of a 199(3?) Jeep Cherokee. That was pretty fun. Stay tuned for more albums, shows in 2026 in NY, Baltimore, upstate New York, and maybe Bulgaria.
